Strategy: The email is for the fictitious company, A-1 Motor Oil. The product is a premium motor oil targeted to men ages 35–50 who own expensive and/or performance cars. These gearheads love their cars and they are dedicated to enhancing performance, protection, and longevity.

For our avatar, taking care of his car is a labor of love, and he spends a lot of time and money on his ride. He doesn’t mind spending a bit more on the best products.

Our strategy was to convey the benefit of protecting an expensive investment by preserving longevity and enhancing performance.
